Title: Maintenance CNC Technician

Range: $30-40/hr dependent on experience

PURPOSE –

The CNC Maintenance Technician supports CNC Manufacturing by performing scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance, providing technical support with machine problems, and works with production to help troubleshoot equipment failures.

CORE RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain CNC machines according to engineering drawings and understand dimensions as they pertain to repeatability, equipment capabilities, tooling, and scaled-up production.
• Dialogue with external vendors, as needed, to ensure that all necessary components and equipment are always available to keep production running.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and collaborate with other departments, as requested.
• Maintain DOT records and hazardous waste according to all local laws, regulations, and internal procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE –

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

• GED, or equivalent education required; additional education (college, technical/trade school) preferred.
• Trade School or certificate in a manufacturing discipline.

Critical Skills/technical know-how:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve

Critical Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general maintenance or some combination of work experience in a manufacturing environment that demands high precision and high-volume repeatability at tight tolerances.
• Professional work experience performing machine repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance, with a knowledge of standard measuring equipment.
