Now, we’re seeking a skilled and detail-driven Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Generalist to join our growing laboratory team who has a strong background in Microbiology.

Your Role:

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Generalist , you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures within your licensed specialty areas. You’ll ensure the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency while fostering strong working relationships between the Laboratory and other departments across the hospital.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • Completion of an accredited medical technician training program leading to state licensure

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Florida License as a Laboratory Clinical Technician (TC) or;
  • Current Florida License as a Laboratory Clinical Technologist (TN)

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred
  • Must be available for every other weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday)
