Redstone Commodity Search are working with a brokerage that is seeking an experienced Oil Products Broker to join their commercial team in Houston or New York. The role involves brokering physical oil products such as Crude Oil, Middle Distillates, Gasoline, and Diesel or Gas Oil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect buyers and sellers of Crude Oil, Middle Distillates, Gasoline, Diesel or Gas Oil, ensuring smooth transactions.
  • Monitor market trends to provide clients with accurate and timely insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Structure and negotiate deals, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with market regulations.
  • Oversee the entire transaction process, coordinating with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth deal completion.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in oil broking, trading, or commodity markets, specifically in Crude Oil, Middle Distillates, Gasoline, or Diesel/Gas Oil.
  • Strong understanding of fuel oil markets, pricing, and logistics.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively while meeting client needs.
  • Ability to analyse market data and offer strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • To be located in Houston, Texas or New York
