Title: Okta Architect

Location: Alameda, CA (work from onsite on all working days is mandatory)

Long Term Rolling Contract

Job Duties:

• Implementation of Okta integrations (SAML, OIDC, etc)
• Okta Administration and Configuration
• Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Okta IAM solutions with application owners and end users.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on Okta best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Configure advanced policies for SSO, MFA, contextual access, and risk-based authentication.
• Monitor system health, resolve issues, and optimize Okta performance and reliability.
• Evaluate new IAM technologies to enhance the Okta ecosystem and improve security posture.
• Developing and maintaining documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Perform feasibility analyses and provide recommendations for future system enhancements.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers on Okta implementation, IAM best practices, and secure design principles.

Required Qualifications:

• Okta Certification: Professional, Administrator, Consultant, or Technical Architect

Minimum Experience:

• Ten (10) years of relevant experience of Okta Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management.
• Five (5) years of experience in developing Okta Workflows
• Five (5) years of experience in IGA and a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Okta IGA
• Experience with other IAM solutions beyond Okta
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Deep understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM and OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with Okta API integrations and System Administration

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
