KPG Healthcare is currently seeking 2 experienced Chemo/Infusion RNs for a year long assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to help the veterans who have served our country. The ideal candidate will possess an active license with at least 1 year of very recent Chemo experience.
The Chemo/Infusion Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to Veterans receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments within the Chemotherapy & Infusion Suite. This role requires independent clinical judgment and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary oncology team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include administering and monitoring chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and high-alert medications in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) guidelines. The RN performs comprehensive patient assessments, interprets laboratory results, manages venous access devices (PICC lines, Port-A-Cath/PASport), performs venipuncture, and provides transfusions and IV therapies. Additional duties include EKG monitoring, airway/BLS support, management of chemotherapy spills, and care for patients with tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and urinary catheters.
The RN develops individualized patient education plans, documents care per VA standards, communicates clinical changes to providers, and coordinates referrals to ancillary services as needed. Contract nurses support daily operations of the infusion center and may provide coverage based on patient volume. May be required to care for COVID-19 positive patients.
Contract nurses work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends and may float or provide coverage based on patient needs and experience. May be required to care for COVID-19 positive patients. Day and night shift available!

Pay Breakdown:
- $45 Hourly Wage
