Job Description

As an Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in leading the Coating and Rewinding department and potentially Shipping/Receiving, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration that supports overall plant success.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Directly supervising hourly team members and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• Managing daily and weekly production schedules in coordination with planning teams
• Leading team meetings, performance check-ins, and training initiatives
• Driving lean manufacturing practices including 5S, TPM, and root cause analysis
• Supporting maintenance planning, downtime tracking, and standard work improvements
• Monitoring production metrics and leading initiatives to meet or exceed goals

What You’ll Bring

• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and hands-on experience with 5S and TPM
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with chemical use and handling a strong plus
