Job Description

The Maintenance Technician I will support efficient, safe production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role includes a leadership component, training maintenance and production personnel on proper equipment use and safety standards.

Shift : Sun-Thurs 9pm-5:30am

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and electronic systems to ensure equipment efficiency.
• Lead and train Maintenance I Technicians and provide indirect support to Production personnel.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Maintenance staff.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on plant utilities and equipment, including facilities systems like HVAC, chillers, and boilers.
• Install new equipment, perform machinery setup, and make running adjustments for production.
• Diagnose, prioritize, and resolve equipment issues during production, focusing on minimizing downtime.
• Adhere to FDA/cGMP standards and complete required annual certifications.

Requirements :

• Experience with gearboxes, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Preventative maintenance expertise and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Industry experience in pharma, food manufacturing, nutraceutical, or biotech (no residential maintenance experience).
• Low voltage experience (240-480V) preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA/cGMP environments.
