Paralegal Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience needed to support paralegals in a fast paced, mid-size law firm in either our Tulsa or OKC office. Position requires excellent proofreading and typing skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe. Experience with PowerPoint and Sharefile a plus. Candidate must be able to handle setting meetings, requesting medical records and following up on same with a general knowledge of medical record, FOIA and HIPAA-related requests. Candidate will also prepare transmittal and general correspondence. The candidate must have general knowledge of pleadings and discovery and be familiar with preparation of hearing, deposition and trial notebooks. Must also be familiar with filing/service of documents and witness subpoenas as well as coordinating Independent Medical Examinations.
This person would support our paralegals with tasks such as scheduling calendar meetings, coordinating with experts, assembling binders, and handling other administrative duties as needed.
