Peer Recovery Support (APS) Job Description
Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. Under the supervision of the Housing Supervisor, the Peer Recovery Supporter’s role is to support others in recovery from a substance use disorder. They will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Recovery Supporter must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships. The Peer Recovery Support must possess a valid State of Ohio Peer Recovery Support certification (APS).
