JOB SUMMARY & MISSION The Planning Analyst supports advisors in preparing for client meetings, ensures timely follow-up and communication, and serves as a liaison during client onboarding. Acting as a second-chair in select meetings, the analyst helps track new business opportunities and client service needs, while also contributing to planning department projects. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES Prepare client cases and meeting agendas at least 24 hours in advance Build and update financial plans, ensuring completion within 5 business days of receiving data, and 2 business days for edits Join select client meetings as a second-seat advisor, supporting plan discussions and onboarding steps Document meeting notes and send timely follow-up communication to clients Commit to ongoing professional development: insurance license within 3 months, investment license within 6 months, and begin CFP (or equivalent) within 12 months Follow up weekly on new business opportunities via the firm’s Hot List Support client onboarding by guiding data collection and offering a hands-on experience Assist with AdvicePay setup and the creation of deliverables for fee-based planning QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Willingness to obtain Life, Health, Annuities & Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses within 3 months and Investment Registration (SIE/7/66) within 6 months Proficient in working at a computer, handling client communications via phone and email. Ability to attend occasional offsite client meetings, as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Comfort in executing multiple tasks and priorities daily with high urgency. Desire to grow professionally as a Financial Advisor. BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Full-Time Employment Team is 4 Days in/1 Day Remote. Base Salary: $55K-$60K Bonus: ~5% Annually Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision; 401(k); Group Life/Disability; FSA/DCFSA Salary Enhancements for Education/Registration: $2500 for passing LHA & $5000 for finalizing Investment Licensing. PTO: 15 days GROWTH PATH Success in this role opens the door to more advanced client opportunities and the potential to grow into a Lead Advisor or similar position. Strong performance may also lead to increased responsibility for managing client relationships and leading planning engagements.
