The Pleasant Grove Police Department (PGPD) has 30 full-time Police Officers. We are proud of our heritage and our culture of camaraderie and service. At this time, PGPD seeks experienced, Utah POST certified candidates. Candidates not POST certified, or currently enrolled in POST, will not be considered. Candidates with multiple years of experience will be considered for Police Officer II / III / IV positions, which is posted separately.

GENERAL PURPOSE
A Police Officer is responsible for Administrative duties within the Police Department. These duties may include technical, administrative, management, investigative, crime prevention, interacting with public, and duties and responsibilities as are required under the job description of Road Patrol Officer, as necessary.
