Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range: $63/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Production Support.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in UNIX / LINUX environments.
• Strong Python knowledge.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as ITRS, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent project and time management abilities.
• Experience working in a multi-regional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of Market Risk.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
