Job Description

This Project Engineer provides critical support to Superintendents and Project Managers in various aspects of fieldwork, procurement, reporting, and contract management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication, helping ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in fieldwork coordination and provide day-to-day support to Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Manage procurement processes, including materials and equipment acquisition.
• Prepare detailed reports, pay applications, subcontracts, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with various trades and maintain open communication across project teams.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to project problem-solving and maintain efficiency under pressure.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field OR graduating in December in a related field.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, building systems, and tools.
• Proven ability to interpret plans, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong math and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with workers, trades, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
