What we need: Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated professional who thrives in structured environments, values process and accuracy, and takes pride in delivering predictable, high-quality results. The Project Manager must be able to work independently while remaining an integral part of a collaborative team , ensuring project success through clear documentation, risk management, and disciplined follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate submittals (product data, shop drawings, engineering) with sales, vendors, and customers.

· Conduct site visits for field measurements and on-site coordination.

· Oversee submittal approvals before material release and manage material purchasing and deliveries.

· Schedule and coordinate internal teams and external labor partners for turnkey projects.

· Track project timelines, material lead times, and manpower availability to optimize scheduling.

· Manage change orders between field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.

· Ensure timely resolution of punchlist items and completion of project closeout documentation.

· Quality Control on installations and deliverables to customers

· Support invoicing efforts to ensure prompt billing upon project milestones or completion.

· Assist sales staff with estimating and project scoping during the pre-sale phase.

· Ensure compliance with company safety protocols across all active job sites.

· Travel: 20-30% (local job sites, throughout Virginia)

· Other duties as assigned

 

What you need: Minimum Qualifications

· Education & Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; 3–5 years of experience project managing in the construction industry.

· Software Proficiency : Skilled in BlueBeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, Primavera P6).

· Technical Competence : Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; solid understanding of construction project workflows.

Reports to: Director of Project Management and local Director of Sales

Status: Full-Time, onsite in Virginia Beach area

Job Class: Exempt
