Role Overview

We're seeking a strategic-minded Procurement Specialist to oversee the acquisition of industrial supplies, machinery, and operational equipment. This position goes beyond traditional purchasing—you'll be a critical thinker who brings analytical depth to procurement decisions that directly influence operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and financial performance.

Primary Duties

• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to assess procurement requirements.
• Analyze cost-benefit scenarios for component replacement versus equipment upgrades.
• Track recurring purchases to identify waste reduction and ROI enhancement opportunities.
• Research, assess, and establish vendor relationships ensuring quality standards, value delivery, and dependability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and delivery schedules for immediate and strategic needs.
• Address shipping complications, quality concerns, and billing discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Examine procurement data to uncover cost reduction opportunities and workflow enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
• Minimum 1 year procurement experience within manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency with eMaint or comparable CMMS software platforms.
• Proven negotiation capabilities and analytical mindset focused on cost optimization.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms).
