Job Description

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing the quality function to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company specifications for manufacturing products.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Support corporate and plant quality systems and procedures
• Review and respond to customer complaints as well as issue corrective action measures to prevent reoccurrence
• Interact with customers and customer service representatives to foster strong customer relationships
• Maintain all records related to quality standards and performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2 years of management experience
• Experience working with a quality management system
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
