Job Description

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Essential Duties:

  • Check clients into the computer as they come in to the clinic and confirm if there are notes/holds for clients in computer. Direct clients to the appropriate department or area.
  • Receive patient payments and makes receipts for payments.
  • Assure customer service to staff, clients and guests.
  • Answer phones and transfer calls from the front desk area.
  • Assist in maintaining order in lobby / medication area and support all toxicology services.

Work Schedule: Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 12:00pm–08:30pm with a Saturday rotation.

Start Date: ASAP

Work Location: 120 N. 11th Street, Springfield, IL

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour; depending on experience

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a Drug Free Environment (including THC and/or CBD).

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required ; At least one year of receptionist experience preferred .
