JOB DESCRIPTION
A large container supplier client of Insight Global's is searching for a Refrigeration Technician or a Refrigeration Apprentice to join their team in Edgerton, KS. Please see the responsibilities below:
• Short/Long PTI.
• Refrigerated system troubleshooting.
• Refrigerated system repair.
• Power washing containers.
• Off-site customer site troubleshooting and repairs.
• Help with team by performing any other tasks within scope of depot operations as requested and qualified to perform.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area and depot if required.
• Computer literate (outlook/excel (basic)/browser).
• Enter estimates and completed Work Orders into tablet/laptop.
• Advanced/fluent in English.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1+ years experience in Refrigeration/ Reefer/ Freon/ Diesal
• 40-hour work week.
• Able to work OT as required.
• Acceptable time keeping.
• Acceptable productivity track record.
• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive mindset to helping other team members.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Own transportation.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• EPA certification
• Freon certification
