Job Description

We’re partnering with a school district in Boulder County, CO to hire a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a short-term, full-time placement supporting a student within a classroom setting.

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to a student in an elementary classroom setting. The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), collect data on student progress, and collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a positive, structured learning environment.

Position Details

Location: In-person, Boulder County, CO

Start Date : October 20th- November 7th (may extend)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Schedule: Full-time; Monday–Friday during regular school hours

School Year: 2025–2026

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and 2:1 behavioral support in the classroom setting.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record accurate behavioral data and progress notes.
• Collaborate with classroom staff, special education teachers, and school psychologists to support student success.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for the student.
• Participate in team meetings and follow through on feedback and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing behavioral support to children in educational or clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
