With a growing global presence, we are expanding our Compliance team and seeking a Regulatory Analyst to support our portfolio of international and domestic initiatives.

Summary:

The Regulatory Analyst plays a key role in ensuring all Chemical Guys products meet global regulatory standards. Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Manager, this role supports product compliance across markets by authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS), managing labeling and packaging requirements, supporting customer compliance platforms (e.g., WERCS), and partnering with Product Development on new launches. This position is based at our Torrance, CA headquarters, though highly qualified remote candidates will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product formulations to determine regulatory classifications, packaging requirements, and label content for U.S. markets.
  • Partner with Product Development to integrate compliance into new launches and reformulations.
  • Prepare and maintain registrations with retail compliance platforms such as WERCS.
  • Maintain and update the internal formula database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Author SDSs in collaboration with Legal, QA, Procurement, and Marketing.
  • Organize and maintain documentation repositories for dossiers, certifications, and compliance materials to ensure regulatory readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Regulatory Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in SDS authoring, labeling, and WERCS registration (consumer products industry preferred).
  • Familiarity with key U.S. regulations such as Prop 65, the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, and State Right to Know laws.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving regulatory landscapes and digital compliance systems.
