We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our remote medical operations team. This role is ideal for an experienced CMA who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a virtual setting. You will play a key role in supporting clinicians, managing virtual care workflows, and ensuring smooth operations across multiple patient touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between providers, patients, pharmacies, partner programs, insurance plans, and support staff.
Handle inbound requests and manage virtual care tasks, including medication refills, test result communication, and patient education.
Gather and document patient medical histories, facilitate referrals, and process authorizations for services, equipment, and medications.
Manage appointment and consult queues, ensuring timely patient connections based on acuity and clinician availability.
Support telehealth technology use, troubleshoot access issues, and assist clinicians with operational needs in real time.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable medical/legal standards.
Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
3–5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
At least 1 year of telehealth experience preferred (not required).
Managerial or lead CMA experience preferred (not required).
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient data accordingly.
Strong understanding of patient rights, compliance standards, and medical/legal guidelines.
