Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Safety Officer to join our team at Durall System India Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection across our operations, particularly in the facade and metal fabrication industry. This role requires the ability to anticipate safety risks, enforce safety regulations, and create a culture of safety within the organization. Key Responsibilities:  Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design and execute safety protocols and programs specific to the facade and metal fabrication processes to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.  Conduct Safety Audits & Inspections: Regularly inspect and audit work areas, machinery, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.  Accident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and suggesting corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain a detailed log of incidents and report to management.  Safety Training & Awareness: Organize regular safety training sessions and workshops for all employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely.  Risk Assessment: Evaluate and assess risks associated with various tasks and equipment used in facade and metal fabrication. Recommend control measures to reduce risks.  Compliance with Safety Legislation: Ensure that the company adheres to all safety and environmental regulations stipulated by local authorities, industry standards, and corporate policies.  Report & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training sessions, and any incidents. Provide regular reports to senior management on safety metrics and compliance.  Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure safe practices are followed during fabrication, installation, and other site activities. Key Requirements:  Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in safety management within the facade or metal fabrication industry. Experience in handling large-scale construction or manufacturing projects is an advantage.  Knowledge & Skills: o Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and procedures within the construction and manufacturing sectors. o Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and safety audits. o Proficiency in accident investigation and reporting. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various teams and stakeholders. o Ability to lead and motivate employees to maintain a strong safety culture.  Physical Fitness: Must be able to conduct site visits, inspections, and audits that may require physical mobility on construction sites. Preferred Qualifications:  Experience working with facade and metal fabrication products.  Familiarity with fire safety standards, hazardous material handling, and emergency response procedures.
