Job Description:

We're looking for a talented and versatile SEO Strategist/Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you'll be the voice of our brand, crafting compelling, conversion-driven copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including product pages, emails, and promotional assets.

You'll play a key role in our content strategy, from writing new blogs and guides to optimizing existing content for search engine visibility and user engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SEO best practices, A/B testing, and using data to improve performance. You will be a collaborative partner to our marketing and creative teams, ensuring our brand voice is consistent and effective across all channels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic SEO roadmaps that align with a client's business goals, forecasting the impact on traffic, leads, or transactions.
  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis, providing clear and digestible reports on organic search performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. This includes deep dives following algorithm updates and translating complex data into a compelling story about our strategic efforts.
  • Present performance and strategy to clients with confidence and clarity, explaining how organic search impacts their business and recommending actionable next steps.
  • Collaborate and delegate tasks to team members, providing clear expectations, resources, and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Execute complex or innovative SEO projects that drive significant results for clients.
  • Set and adapt SEO goals and forecasts based on historical data and the current search landscape.
  • Maintain project and deliverable trackers to ensure all work is on schedule.
  • Utilize AI and other proprietary technologies to optimize and enhance SEO processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an SEO-based role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Advanced understanding of all aspects of organic search, including on-page, technical, off-page, and content SEO.
  • Extensive experience with e-commerce clients and the ability to align SEO strategies with key business objectives.
  • Proficiency with essential analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently to develop custom SEO strategies.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills for planning strategy, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely project completion.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to provide constructive feedback and, ideally, experience in training other team members.
