Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Division Manager located in Carrollton, TX. The Security Division Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of CTG's Security Division. Day-to-day tasks include the following;

  • Oversee daily operations report to VP of Operations.
  • Project Management.
  • Build and generate relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Generate accurate design-build / build-to-spec / GMP estimates capable of meeting the expectations of our commercial, industrial, institutional, and facility clients. 
  • Work with a sales team committed to developing both existing and new relationships with General Contractors, owners, Architects, and Engineering Firms.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in all areas of estimates ranging from $50K to over $3.5MM.
  • Develop specialized knowledge around Project and Construction Management and provide timely reports to field staff, corporate accounting, and management.
  • Learn and successfully apply the Key Selling Tasks
  • Provide estimates of labor and material for the completion of work on specific jobs.
  • Compile itemized materials and price takeoffs from blueprints and specifications, and from visual observations.
  • Itemizes work to be done by the team.
  • Compute cost estimates of materials, equipment to be purchased/rented and labor.
  • Develop timelines for dates of start and completion.·
  • Learn to negotiate sound credit and payment terms through the branch Credit Policy.
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with fellow employees through good communication and cooperation.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or a catalog, and emphasizes key and differentiating features.
  • Compiles necessary bids for labor and materials to make installations of commercial and industrial service jobs.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules.
  • Responsible for the planning documents, instructions, and standards that are needed for each project.
  • Supervises, leads, and directs technical teams and project activities.
  • Manages project schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Performs site surveys.
  • Prepares project plans, including schedules with major and minor milestones, and bills of materials.
  • Manage financial budgets and supplies.
  • Responsibilities include project quality assurance and conformance to defined project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Physical Security and Security Management
  • Experience in programming of access control and camera IP Systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field
