Role Overview: Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering client relationships and ensuring their success. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as their primary contact, advocating for their needs, and working to exceed their expectations. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you'll develop strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advocacy and Relationship Building:

Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their goals and challenges. Advocate for their needs within our organization to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

Onboarding and Support:

Oversee the client onboarding process, collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support. Offer high-level training and strategic guidance to help clients meet their eCommerce goals.

Strategic Account Planning:

Collaborate with data analysts and strategists to assess client metrics and develop business strategies focused on customer retention, conversion optimization, and sales growth. Lead quarterly business reviews and develop actionable account plans in line with client objectives.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Oversee the creation and management of performance dashboards, track key metrics, and provide clients with regular performance updates.

Renewals, Upsells, and Cross-Sells:

Manage contract renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and handle all aspects of client agreements to support ongoing growth and client retention.

Education and Mentorship:

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Lead training initiatives for new Account Managers, providing mentorship and creating a supportive team culture.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities to improve processes and services. Implement these improvements within the team, ensuring all updates are documented and communicated effectively.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who values collaboration, client success, and a growth mindset. Here's what we're seeking:

4+ years of experience in Account Management
Knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Partner ecosystem
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
Strong passion for eCommerce, technology, and design
High standards for self and team, along with a strong sense of accountability
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, especially in a fast-paced environment
A flexible mindset to adapt to "easy" and "busy" weeks
