We provide insurance solutions to organizations throughout North America and have been doing business locally and nationally for over 80 years. Many know us for our specialty and niche insurance products. We also offer expertise in standard commercial insurance and personal insurance.

Responsibilities :

• Review claim and policy information to provide background for investigation and determine coverage analysis depending on the line of business.
• Contact, interview and obtain statements (recorded or in person) from insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, police officers, etc. to secure necessary claim information.
• Depending on line of business, may inspect and appraise damage for property losses or arranges for such appraisal.
• Evaluate facts supplied by investigation to determine extent of liability of the insured, if any, and extend of the carrier’s obligation to the insured under the policy contract.
• Prepare reports on investigation, settlements, denials of claims, individual evaluation of involved parties, etc.
• Set reserves within authority limits and recommend reserve changes to Director, Claims & Risk Management.

Must-Have Skills :

1. Must have a minimum of 5 years of Claims experience specifically General Liability claims.
2. Expertise in litigated claims.
3. Knowledge of Commercial auto , Inland Marine and Property claims.

Nice to Have Skills :

1. Ability to travel to client sites if needed.
