Senior Client Manager – Commercial Banking

They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, driving business growth, and structuring complex commercial credit solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in commercial banking, a proven ability to develop business, and a strong understanding of credit policies and procedures.

Focus:

  • Develop and manage relationships with commercial banking clients, identifying opportunities to provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand the client portfolio and drive revenue growth.
  • Assess and structure complex Commercial & Industrial (C&I) credit arrangements, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
  • Utilize advanced credit analysis and accounting expertise to evaluate financial statements and determine appropriate lending strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to meet client needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments to provide strategic insights to clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service by effectively communicating financial solutions and strategies to clients.

Skill Set:

  • A minimum of a secondary education credential is necessary; a university degree is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in commercial banking or a related business development role.
  • Proven track record of designing sophisticated financial solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in commercial banking or a related advanced business development capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial credit policies and best practices.
  • Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and accounting capabilities.
  • Proven success in a target-driven sales environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
