The role of the Senior Data Scientist is to identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve business performance through development of algorithms and decision support systems that provide recommendations for business decisions. Some of the areas of focus include Sales/Marketing, Revenue Management, Inventory Management and Operations. The Senior Data Scientist develops solutions that must integrate with applications developed within the broader Enterprise Data Analytics team. Successful integration often requires collaboration with various partners and stakeholders in the business including Sales/Marketing, Revenue Management and IT.
