Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – IC Mixed Signal Design

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Mixed Signal IC Design to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development of electro-mechanical medical devices and a strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mixed signal analog/digital circuits.
• Lead and support the design, fabrication, and manufacture of complex instrument subassemblies and systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototype development for medical devices.
• Perform design analysis, validation, and verification.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and quality engineers.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and quality systems.

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Mixed Signal Circuit Design (Amplifier, Level Shifter, Instrumentation Amplifier)
• Bandgap Reference and Digital Logic Design
• Full IC System Design (Noise, Kelvin Wiring, Guard Banding)
• I/O ESD Cell Design and GDSII Generation
• Parasitic Extraction, DRC, and LVS Verification
• PCB CAD/Layout Tools (ORCAD Capture, Mentor Graphics PADS)
• Simulation Tools (Pspice, Siemens Tanner Tools)
• Familiarity with X-FAB Processes (XH035 – 350nm, XH018 – 180nm)
• Use of Calibre and other IC verification tools
• First Silicon Evaluation and Bench Testing
• General Laboratory Test Equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical or IC design engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience working in FDA-regulated environments is a plus.
