How you’ll make an impact:

The Senior Architect, iOS will be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of our flagship mobile safety application. As the Senior Architect, iOS you will be a leading contributor to our strategic innovation roadmap in 2025. Your work will reach numerous enterprise customers and millions of consumers. Your contributions will enhance safety and access to critical safety services for thousands of families, vulnerable individuals, and travelers.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design and development of high quality and performing mobile applications that scale to millions of users.
  • Maintain close collaboration with product managers and produce high quality mobile architectural strategy. that aligns with product needs.
  • Maintain close collaboration with mobile application developers, provide high quality artifacts to align execution with architectural strategy.
  • Hands-on POCs and development with the technology stack at SiriusXM Connect.
  • Mentor and guide developers on the team through code reviews, participation in refinement and planning ceremonies, and through pair coding and other means as necessary to produce consistently high-quality application code throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide thought leadership in the mobile computing area.
  • Contribute directly to a culture of innovation by driving fast moving, iterative product development with maintained technical excellence.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years of mobile application development experience with at least 4 years hands-on deployment experience in large scale consumer mobile applications.
  • 2+ years’ experience designing major aspects of highly scalable, secure, and performant mobile application deployments.
  • 4+ years’ experience working in a product-driven development culture focusing on product outcomes.
  • Expertise in logging, monitoring and support in large scale mobile deployments.
  • Experience designing and implementing Enterprise SDK Development, Location Services Based architecture, SSO and OAuth
  • Experience with these languages: Swift / C#
  • Nice to have experience with AWS platform.
  • Nice to have experience with Crashlytics/Sentry/BugSnag or similar tools.
  • Nice to have experience with High volume real time messaging systems/MQTT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Spanish language skills, particularly Latin American dialects, are a plus.
  • Must have a legal right to work in the U.S.
