Role Description

We’re seeking a highly ambitious Senior Marketing Manager / Director to scale Good Natured Brand into the national leader in pet-safe cleaning products. You’ll own brand and marketing strategy alongside full omnichannel growth, leading performance marketing, content, social, design, and product teams. By embedding internal and external AI technologies into marketing, you’ll drive faster execution, smarter strategies, and outsized impact. This is a C-level track role, with the expectation to grow into CMO/CEO within two years.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand & Marketing Strategy – Develop and execute holistic marketing strategies, evolving brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction to build awareness, deepen customer loyalty, and drive long-term organic growth.
• Retail Expansion – Lead national retail growth by building relationships with buyers, securing new placements, and representing the brand at trade shows and conventions. Develop marketing and sales strategies to ensure strong sell-through and lasting retail partnerships.
• Omnichannel P&L Ownership – Own the financial performance across all non-Amazon channels (Shopify, Chewy, Walmart.com, retail, etc.), balancing revenue growth with profitability by managing sales, advertising spend, and operating costs.
• Performance Marketing – Oversee paid acquisition strategy in partnership with the performance marketing team, ensuring campaigns across digital channels are optimized for ROI, lifetime value, and long-term growth.
• Content & Social Media – Guide content strategy to strengthen brand storytelling across our blog and social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit). Work with the team to create engaging, shareable content that builds community and brand equity.
• Partnerships – Develop and manage influencer, ambassador, and brand partnerships that expand reach, reinforce credibility, and foster community engagement around Good Natured Brand.
• Team Leadership – Provide direction, mentorship, and accountability for the marketing team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and excellence in execution across all initiatives.
• PR & Thought Leadership – Position Good Natured Brand as a pioneer in the pet-safe cleaning products industry by securing media coverage, speaking opportunities, and press features. Highlight our role in redefining what “clean” means for pet parents, families, and environmentally conscious consumers.

• Pet Lover & Mission-Driven – Deep passion for pets, families, and creating healthier homes through safe, natural, and sustainable products.
• Ambitious, Entrepreneurial & Future C-Suite Leader – Thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments with the drive and capability to step into a CMO/CEO role within two years .
• Proven Brand Builder – Experience building or scaling a consumer brand to $50M+ in revenue , with expertise in omnichannel marketing (e-commerce, retail, partnerships).
• Retail Expansion Experience – Demonstrated success in launching or expanding brands into national retailers (Costco, Target, Walmart etc.) , including managing buyer relationships and driving strong sell-through.
• AI-Native Marketer – Skilled at using AI technologies to build campaigns, content, and creatives, and to optimize marketing performance.
• Analytical & Commercially Savvy – Strong command of P&L ownership, KPIs, and data-driven decision making , with a track record of driving profitable growth.
• Team Builder & Leader – 5–10 years in marketing, with proven success building & leading cross-functional teams across performance marketing, social media, content, product, and design.
• Strategic Storyteller – Exceptional ability to craft and communicate compelling brand narratives that position Good Natured Brand as the category leader in pet-safe cleaning products .
