  • Apply GD&T principles to communicate design intent, ensuring manufacturing and assembly processes adhere to specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Analyze field performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement design modifications to enhance the overall reliability of robotic harvesting systems
  • Collaborating closely with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, ensuring smooth, efficient and scalable production processes.
  • Leveraging expertise in manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, Injection molding, and additive manufacturing, to enhance the production efficiency of robotic systems.

  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application to product design.
  • Expertise in the selection and seamless integration of motors, encoders, and sensors into robotic systems.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software, including advanced assemblies, complex configuration management, and best practices for part design.
  • Hands-on experience crafting functional prototypes and proof-of-concept models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying technical information and documentation.
  • Experience managing projects through their full lifecycle and meeting established milestones.
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze design tradeoffs for hardware systems and architectures.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.

Preferred Skills & Experience
