Senior Manager, Upholstery Operations

This is a premier leadership role where you will own the operational strategy, develop a large team of manufacturing leaders, and drive the performance of a multi-shift, high-volume upholstery operation. What You Will Do:

As the Senior Operations Manager for Upholstery, you will be the strategic leader for this vital division. Your mission will be to:

  • Lead & Develop: Direct, mentor, and empower a large team of Operations Managers, Superintendents, and Supervisors across multiple shifts, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Implement and champion Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production flow, enhance quality, and relentlessly drive out waste.
  • Strategize & Execute: Own capacity planning along with production scheduling, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure all manufacturing objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Champion a World-Class Culture: Uphold and advance our commitment to safety and quality, creating an environment where every team member is engaged and proud of their work.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in a senior leadership/management role.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent deep work experience).
  • Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Continuous Improvement (CI), complex capacity planning, and dynamic production flows.
  • Leadership: A genuine passion for developing people and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large, multi-shift operations.
