Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate exceptional creativity in translating art direction and visual design into compelling user experiences. Must be passionate about merging innovative design with user experience principles.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other designers to maintain consistency and cohesiveness across all products and platforms.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
• Incorporate business goals and objectives into the design process, demonstrating a strong understanding of business acumen.
• Lead lively design reviews and presentations for our awesome leadership and team members, and be ready to dish out answers about our design decisions with flair!

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in Figma.
• Consider yourself super creative. We love to CREATE here!.
• Know your multi-talented. We wear a lot of hats here. You should be a hat collector like the rest of us.
• Are you tired of your work not being displayed? We create to deploy. Your work will be used & tested thoroughly.
• Know your toolbox! We use Figma, Notion, Slack, Linear.app, the Adobe suite, and more!
• Have experience working closely with engineers to implement designs and understand technical constraints.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking initiative and driving projects forward.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to adapt to evolving requirements and priorities.
• Start-up experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.
