Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• Design of steel utility transmission structures (primarily tubular steel poles and arms)
• Use of PLS-Pole software and proprietary tools for structure and component design
• Full-cycle responsibility from preliminary design through erection
• Coordination with internal departments (sales, detailing, project management, production)
• Customer communication and project coordination
• Occasional travel for site visits or trade shows
• Emphasis on safety, proactive work ethic, dependability, and effective communication

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• PE License in any U.S. state
• 2+ years of experience in steel utility pole structure design

Preferred:

• Master’s in engineering or business
• Structural Engineer (SE) licensure or Model Law SE designation
• Proficiency with PLS-Pole or similar tools
• Customer-facing work experience
