We are seeking an experienced  Site Safety Professional – Demolition / Abatement Construction  for our jobsites located in  Culver City, California.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• To develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures.
• To assist in complying with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of learners, staff and visitors.
• To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
• To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents and to assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents.
• To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions.
• To respond to employees’ safety concerns.
• To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any jobsite.
• To act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies.
• To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in jobsites.
• To assume other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have CHST from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or
• Certified Safety Manager-Construction (SMS-C) from the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP)
• 5+ years of recent similar construction experience
• Capable of working independently and with a team environment
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word & Outlook
• Must be a High School graduate
