Job Description

Summary: The Sr Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system (QMS) that ensures product and service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction for PBI Gordon Corporation. This role involves leading a team to establish and oversee quality control processes, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.).
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to ensure effective QMS operations.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all business processes.
  • Provide quality-related training and education to employees.
  • Manage quality budgets and resources effectively.
  • All other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.  Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) preferred.
  • 7+ years of total experience.  Two years directly involved in quality or other regulated processes that require establishment of processes and procedures to maintain compliance to a standard.
  • Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Experience leading and developing quality teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel required up to 40%.
