**Job Title: Stand Up Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a Stand Up Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a Combilift forklift. We have two openings: one from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and another from Sunday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Your primary duties include running a stand-up forklift all day, preparing steel beams and flats for the second shift to load onto trucks, and efficiently managing the movement of materials. **Responsibilities** + Operate a stand-up forklift, specifically a Combilift, throughout the shift. + Prepare steel beams and flats for shipment on the second shift. + Navigate aisles to collect and stage orders. + Ensure efficient material handling and order fulfillment. **Essential Skills** + Prior experience operating forklifts, including Combilift, Hubtex, and Raymond models. + Background in steel or lumber yards is highly beneficial. + Proficiency in material handling and order picking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with stand-up reach trucks and reach forklifts. + Ability to work efficiently in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of working a stable day shift with an early start, allowing for an early end to your day. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots and ear protection. Shift options are Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or Sunday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
