Strategic Sourcing Specialist/Experienced Buyer

We are a custom manufacturing company looking for a Sourcing professional/experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you’ll do more than issue POs—you’ll drive purchasing strategy, source innovative vendors, and negotiate pricing and terms that support our unique, ever-changing production needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing for custom projects through our ERP system
• Source new suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery capability
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to support project goals
• Collaborate with project managers, production, and engineering teams
• Monitor supplier performance and develop long-term vendor relationships
• Stay ahead of supply chain trends and bring a strategic mindset to purchasing

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of buying/sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment (custom manufacturing is a plus)
• Proven experience with ERP systems
• Excellent negotiation skills and a strategic approach to procurement
• Strong organization and follow-through with a “get it done” attitude
• A collaborative spirit—teamwork is a must in our fast and friendly culture
