Job Description

CodeGreen is seeking a senior professional with a strong background in Sustainability consulting for the Built Environment to join our dynamic team. At CodeGreen, you will play a pivotal role in independently scoping, coordinating, and managing multiple projects, driving them to successful completion. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing holistic and innovative strategies to maximize building sustainability including decarbonization, energy modeling, and ESG strategy. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional results. This position provides you with the opportunity to assist with the growth and development of our building enclosure practice to ensure we achieve our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Define project objectives and goals, keeping projects on track with these objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Manage strategic scopes of work, lead client meetings, and provide education on building enclosure initiatives. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities to connect services, and present additional offerings. Gather opportunities for work and then prepare/review proposals for potential work.
  • Deliverables: Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely manner for clients.
  • Team Coordination: Work with support staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Billing and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely billing of projects and oversee the creation and submission of all required and ad hoc reports.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends. Attend Client and Industry organization meetings/events. Engage in professional organizations, write papers, attend conferences, and/or contribute to technical committees.
  • Administrative and Business Responsibilities: Assist in marketing and presenting all CodeGreen service offerings to clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of Building Sustainability consulting and project management experience, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Technical: Technical expertise in one or more of the following: ESG strategy, Energy Engineering, Green Building Standards & Certifications, Sustainability Data Collection & Analysis.
  • Skills: Experienced with typical Microsoft Office Suite to support and run a business.
  • Organizational Skills: Superb organization and time-management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in technical writing.
  • Ability to periodically travel outside of immediate region.

Preferences

  • Technical or bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, architecture, construction management, etc.).
  • LEED, WELL, FitWel, or other industry credentials are a plus.
