Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Attorney to provide support on a project basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal expertise, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with in-house counsel or firm attorneys. Assignments may range from short-term coverage to longer engagements, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and provide written analyses and recommendations
• Assist with discovery, deposition preparation, and trial or hearing support as required
• Provide transactional support, including due diligence, contract review, and compliance matters
• Advise internal teams or clients on applicable laws and regulations relevant to assigned projects
• Manage caseloads and deadlines efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to advance case or project goals

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing (jurisdiction based on assignment requirements)
• 2+ years of substantive legal experience in law firm or in-house setting
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new subject matter and client environments
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and case/document management systems

Compensation is commensurate with experience and project scope.
