Job Description

Job Summary: H&D Distributors, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Dallas, TX. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role reports directly to the President and requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate handling of all products and materials.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Experience with implementing and utilizing warehouse automation systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
