About the Role

Safely operate company truck to transport elevator equipment, tools, and materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery and pickup of materials per dispatch or supervisor instructions.
  • Load and unload materials with care to prevent damage.
  • Secure cargo following DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Verify delivery contents with packing slips, job numbers, and delivery tickets.
  • Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to deliver necessary parts and tools to job sites.
  • Assist in moving heavy equipment or materials at job locations as needed.
  • Provide documentation or signatures required for delivery verification.
  • Communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to supervisor.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory such as elevator components, tools, and supplies.
  • Maintain organized and labeled storage areas for easy access and tracking.
  • Prepare outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
  • Track inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock or reordering needs.
  • Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Keep vehicle and warehouse areas clean and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, inventory movements, and vehicle logs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE in warehouse and jobsite environments.
  • Ensure adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
  • Complete any required safety or compliance training.

Forklift Operator

Active Driver's License

Pay range

$20 - $26/hour
