Animator 3

24-month contract-option to go internal

LOCATION:

Rapid City, SD

JOB SUMMARY FOR ANIMATOR 3:

• Seeking an Animator 3 for a manufacturing client based out of Rapid City, SD.
• Onsite 5days/week M-F
• Start Time between 6 am – 8 am. Core hours 8 am – 3 pm.
• 4 x 9 hour days + 4 hour Friday / 5 x 8 hour days
• Pay Range: $23.14-$26.13

RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANIMATOR 3:

• Adhere to the company’s brand voice and appeal to the target audience to increase public engagement
• Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making process
• Assists in assessing risks, benefits, and considerations of alternatives
• Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient
• Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness
• Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work
• Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate
• Communicate with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Create designs with intention
• Build animations for product groups based on need
• Test for intuitively and experience for current and new designs

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR ANIMATOR 3:

• Minimum 2-year degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, Multimedia Arts, Rendering, or similar
• 5-7 years industry experience
• Art portfolio link required

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR ANIMATOR 3:

• Deep knowledge of After Effects, Adobe software, Autodesk Maya, and Microsoft Suite required
• Animation, Rigging, Key Framing, Camera and machine animation, storyboarding, 2D graphic animation, Text animation, Composition, and Rendering
• Additional 2D software
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability are required.
• Experience with animating and the core concepts of animation.
• Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Understanding of Lighting, Scene Creation, 3D material workflows, and creating realistic textures.
• Previous experience generating new images.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
