Job Title: Assistant Project Manager – Building Envelope (Restoration)

Location: New York, NY

A leading building envelope consultancy in New York City is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with proven experience in façade and building envelope restoration of existing buildings (not new construction). The firm has over 30 years of experience restoring NYC landmarks, including the Flatiron Building and Empire State Building.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing restoration projects on existing mid- to high-rise buildings
• Coordinate field and office activities, ensuring compliance with client and city standards
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and documentation
• Support communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facade/building envelope restoration
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or similar
• Familiarity with NYC DOB filing, local codes, and restoration practices
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver's license (vehicle use may be required)
• OSHA and scaffold certifications a plus
