We are seeking an individual to raise increased funds through the successful identification, cultivation, and solicitation of annual gifts from individual donors.

  • Manage, oversee, and grow areas of the Individual Giving Team's Annual Giving Campaign including but not limited to: employee giving (internal and external), special events (auction, raffle, swag items, and prizes) tribute and memorial gifts, affinity/community groups, special campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising Individual Build Day program, and third-party/cause marketing events.
  • Assist in implementation of the team's Annual Giving plan including prospecting and stewardship of a donor portfolio of 50-75; assisting in building up our mid-level donor base.
  • Assist with all affiliate signature events; engaging and cultivating individual donors and prospects, while providing general event support. Additionally, collaborate with team members in the planning and implementation of special donor events, as needed, including friend-raisers, third-party events, and donor recognition/appreciation events.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, tracking of all donor communications and activity; ensure our database is reflective of activity and accurate.

Education / Experience

  • Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and donor management systems.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for working with donors, volunteers, board members, and internal teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, board members, and community leaders.
  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of related experience required.
