Chief Operating Officer – Commercial Contractor Services - Private Equity Ownership
Our client is a leading lower middle-market commercial contractor services business. The company has a strong reputation for providing high quality services within their industry and is recognized for its ability to execute a complete suite of services in their field. The company is backed by a private equity investor with a focus on introducing process to support organic and acquisitive growth before taking the company through an eventual sale process.
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy of this organization, leading the day-to-day operations with full P&L responsibility for the business. As COO, you will be a strategic partner to the private equity investors and will execute on the investment thesis including value creation while increasing the profitability of the business as it scales. The position requires an entrepreneurially minded and operationally focused leader with a strong sales and marketing background, with proven experience in developing highly-effective in-home selling strategies. You will also possess tried and tested lead-generation and marketing chops within a residential home services context. Overall, the COO will be involved at a granular level across all aspects of the business and will be as comfortable in the board room as out in the field. This role requires a high-energy, entrepreneurial leader who can implement best practices and lead from the front.
