Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead wireless infrastructure deployments from application through project closeout. This role plays a key part in delivering telecom installations by managing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring all client, engineering, and regulatory requirements are met. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, construction knowledge, and experience working with wireless carriers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage wireless communication installation projects from application entry to construction completion and closeout.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and customers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Review and approve tenant designs, including fiber-to-tower upgrades and decommissions.
  • Interface with site acquisition teams, engineering partners, leasing, and operations to align on project needs.
  • Issue construction Notice to Proceeds (NTPs), coordinate site walks, and ensure punch list completion.
  • Track budgets, invoices, POs, and requisitions in coordination with the operations team.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is captured in internal systems (e.g., permits, as-builts, site details).
  • Support due diligence efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, and site management reviews.
  • Maintain communication through project tracking tools and weekly status reporting.
  • Lead internal and external meetings to resolve challenges and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing telecom infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or entrepreneurial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with wireless carrier standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project systems such as Siterra, SiteTracker, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of tower engineering, structural analysis, and construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with lease administration, site audits, and telecom M&A due diligence.
