Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Sonographer to join one of the most prestigious oncology specialty centers located in Watertown, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of oncology patients. You will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists, oncologists, and medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Hourly $27.00-$45.00

Monday-Friday Schedule. No Weekends, No Nights!

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS certification (or eligible) required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting; oncology experience preferred but not required.

Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols, with a focus on oncology-related imaging.
• Evaluate the quality and consistency of images and ensure optimal imaging for diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the electronic medical system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
