Position: Construction Superintendent

Location: San Antonio TX 78227

Work schedule: M-F, 8-5

Salary: 90,000 – 105,000 + Company car, gas card, phone

Must Haves

• Experience managing small to mid-sized projects (6–12 weeks from mobilization to completion)
• Ability to oversee 5–10 jobs simultaneously, coordinating 2–3 subcontractors
• Strong background in project scheduling, including creating and maintaining 3-week look-ahead schedules
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas for tracking schedules and progress
• Prior experience in flatwork concrete, municipal or civil projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills for managing multiple trades and timelines

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

An employer in San Antonio is looking for a Construction Superintendent to manage small to mid-sized projects. This role involves overseeing multiple jobs, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and document all construction activities across multiple job sites
• Manage jobsite operations and supervise subcontractors for scopes like shade structures, playgrounds, electrical, and concrete
• Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones
• Use Autodesk Build or Procore to track issues, annotate plans, and manage workflows
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment for multiple concurrent projects
• Conduct daily safety and progress reporting, including photo documentation
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
